Private Golf Club Membership: Why you should have one

Bonita Bay Country Club Golf Membership

If you are a golfer in Southwest Florida, you probably already know the value of having a private golf club membership. You get exclusive access to some amazing courses.

There are many private courses in the Naples and Fort Myers, FL areas. Some are open to the public for private membership while others are restricted to only residents. In addition, some memberships give you access to one course while others give you several.

Bonita Bay Club private golf membership offers access to five golf courses, three practice facilities, a short game practice area and two pro shops. Three of the courses are in Bonita Bay in Bonita Springs while two are in North Naples.

There are three Arthur Hills-designed Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary courses. The Marsh features a natural wetland terrain among oaks and palmettos and Creekside is known for its broad fairways. The Bay Island course challenges players with water hazards, sand traps and thick oak and cypress strands.

In addition, there are two Tom Fazio-designed courses in Naples. The Audubon Sanctuary courses, Cypress and Sabal, also have an 8,200-square-foot clubhouse featuring a dining room, bar and golf shop.

A staff of PGA Professionals oversee clinics, short game schools, full and half-day lessons and video teaching.

Golfers have a few different options for memberships, which are open to a limited number of non-residents.

Golf Club Membership

The Golf Membership offers full use of all five courses, practice facilities, pro shops, and golf pros to help sharpen your game. It also includes access to the tennis courts, pickleball courts, croquet court, fitness and spa facilities, swimming pool, social activities and dining at both the West and Naples clubhouses.

Golf-in-Waiting Membership

The Golf-in-Waiting Membership serves as an entry into the Golf Membership, with all rights and privileges of full Golf Membership, except that golf privileges at the West Courses require two days’ notice and as space is available.

If you are looking for a private golf club membership that gives you access to five amazing courses and other amenities, you’ll want to visit Bonita Bay Club. To learn more or apply for membership, visit the website at BonitaBay.net or call 239-495-0200.
