Proud moment for Bonita Bay Club!
We’re thrilled to share that our Croquet Professional, Sherif Abdelwahab, is featured on the cover of the 2026 Spring Issue of Croquet News, with an in-depth profile highlighting a truly remarkable season. It’s a well-deserved spotlight on one of the game’s very best, and we couldn’t be happier to see Sherif recognized on a national stage.
The article celebrates Sherif’s standout year, coming on the heels of his American Six-Wicket National Championship victory in November, a major achievement that reflects the precision, strategy, and competitive excellence he’s known for. For our members and the broader croquet community, it’s exciting to see that level of performance honored in such a meaningful way.
Sherif’s accomplishments extend far beyond a single season. His career spans an incredible 55 years, across multiple continents, and includes induction into the U.S. Croquet Hall of Fame. With 22 U.S. national titles to his name, Sherif has built a legacy defined by consistency, mastery, and an enduring commitment to the sport.
At Bonita Bay Club, we’re fortunate to learn from and compete alongside a professional of Sherif’s caliber. His leadership, experience, and passion elevate our entire croquet program—and inspire players at every level.
Congratulations, Sherif, on this exceptional honor. We’re proud to have you representing Bonita Bay Club, and we can’t wait for everyone to read the feature in Croquet News!
